The violin features a natural color finish and is built with basswood for the head, back, sides, and face. The fingerboard, tailpiece, pegs, chin rest, and end pin are made from blacked wood, while the top is maple. The bow is made from arbor and white horse tail, and the case has a very soft inside designed to help protect the violin.

Package note:
- The bridge is wrapped in paper and stored underneath the tailpiece when received.
- The bow hairs may arrive loose and can be tightened with the screw.
- Some broken bow hairs are normal and can be cut off.
- The bow should not be over tightened.
- Rosin should be applied evenly to the bow hair before playing.
- If a string falls out, it can be reinstalled; customer service can help.
